The Impact of Technical Architect to Coupa: As a Technical Architect at Coupa, you will collaborate with our Customers, Partners and internal Product Management teams to implement cutting-edge solutions for our customers. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in integrating technologies into the Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or AP Automation domains, enabling our teams to manage the successful delivery of integration projects at Coupa effectively.
What you will do:
- Lead customer expectations, collaborating with project managers to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Engage with customer architecture and senior management on integration topics in both individual and team settings
- Design integration extraction and consumption methodologies in a multi-ERP environment
- Mentor and lead integration engineers to successfully deliver solutions, configuring and developing RESTful APIs and flat-file-based integrations
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve integration-related issues, and design and build infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading from various sources
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Solid hands-on experience in architecting large-scale integrations, including ERP integration with SAP, ORACLE E-Business Suite, and Netsuite
- Expertise in one or more Finance and Procurement functional areas (e.g., Procure to Order, Procure to Pay, Expenses, Accounts Payable)
- Direct experience with sFTP, RESTful APIs and Single Sign-On configuration
- ERP domain knowledge in SAP, Netsuite, and ORACLE, familiarity with AWS or other cloud host stacks and a strong understanding of web technologies
- Excellent written and verbal Japanese and English communication skills, coupled with project management and organizational skills, and the ability to advocate, convince, and align customers and teams
In addition, you will need to have the following Technical Skills:
- Middleware Experience – TIBCO / SAP / ORACLE / Boomi / Talend / MuleSoft
- Demonstrable experience integrating with external supplier systems using standards like EDI, cXML etc.
- Programming Language Experience – Ruby / Java / .NET
- Scripting languages - Python, Powershell
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQL server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.
