スマートニュース株式会社は、「世界中の良質な情報を必要な人に送り届ける」をミッションに掲げ、2012年6月15日に設立されました。 日本と米国でニュースアプリ「SmartNews（スマートニュース）」を運用しています。 世界中の膨大な情報を日夜解析し続けるアルゴリズムと、スマートデバイスに最適化された快適なインターフェースを通じて、世界中から集めた良質な情報を一人でも多くの人々に届けていきたいと考えています。 スマートニュースは東京、サンフランシスコ、パロアルト、ニューヨーク、シンガポールにオフィスを構えています。私たちとともにグローバルスタートアップとして、ミッションの実現を目指していただける方は、ぜひご応募ください。 法務チームについて チームの役割・ミッションは、日本とアメリカで情報・ニュース提供サービスをスピーディーに大規模に提供するにあたって生じる全ての法的相談に、迅速かつ適切に対応することです。 グローバルな経営環境の中でもGlobal One Product, Global One Teamの理念の下、日本と米国のそれぞれに法務部門が緊密に連携しながら業務を遂行しています。人員体制は、日本の法務部が7名、米国の法務部が2名となっており、今後さらに増強していく予定です。日米の法務部共に双方の事業に関与することが多く、また経営陣や事業部との距離も近いのが特徴です。 業務内容 日本とアメリカで情報提供サービスをスピーディーに大規模に展開するビジネスにおいて生じる全ての法的相談にチームとして対応するために、幅広く様々な案件に柔軟に対応すること（特定の領域に特化した対応というよりも、幅広く様々な案件をハンドリングすることが主なミッションとなりますが、時期によっては特定の領域にフォーカスが置かれるということもあります） 具体的には以下の業務が挙げられます： 法務機能の中でも特に契約法務、機関法務、データ・コンプライアンス、プロダクト法務、リスク・ガバナンス、知的財産戦略、グローバルな人事労務の取り扱い 契約法務やプロダクト法務、リスク・ガバナンス領域は、特にAIを用いる事業活動が多岐に渡るため、最先端領域に関する法務相談が多く発生し、正確な技術理解を踏まえたタイムリーなサポート 機関法務は、グローバルな投資家・株主からの信頼を得られるべき機関設計・運営が求められ、市場水準に比しても高度なサポート体制を備えなければならない。また、子会社を含むガバナンス体制の構築も法務の主要機能の一つ データ・コンプライアンスは、GDPR, CCPA, APPI（個人情報保護法）を中心に、グローバルなデータの取り扱いを可能にするコンプライアンス体制の構築（ポリシーの整備と運用体制の構築・維持） 海外に所在する複数の子会社を含め、多国籍の社員が在籍する中で、グローバルな規制環境を踏まえた人事労務対応、また各国の法務・税務規制に対応した株式報酬制度のサポート テクノロジー企業として、技術を活用した法務オペレーションの構築が継続的な使命であり、Legal Techサービスも活用しながら、事業部との連携を円滑にするシステム構築・改善 Requirements 必須要件： 法律事務所または企業内法務としての企業法務の取扱経験が5年以上 英語での読み書きが可能であり、コミュニケーション能力に優れている方 歓迎要件： 日本での弁護士資格 スタートアップやIT企業のようなスピード感溢れるダイナミックな環境で、法務担当として起業家精神を持って働いた経験 ビジネスレベルの英語力 著作権問題に関する専門的知識 デジタル広告市場領域での企業法務の経験 Benefits 毎年の健康診断 対象者に対して、就労ビザの取得サポートが可能です。当社では転勤支援サービス会社と提携し、日本での就労に必要な移住手続きを支援しています。
